Week 1
Detailed evaluation of the dog’s behavior, temperament, and specific training needs.
Establishing a rapport with the dog to foster trust and cooperation.
Updating fundamental commands such as “sit,” “stay,” “down,” and “leave it.”
Updating loose-leash walking and basic leash manners.
Updating more complex commands such as “place,” “heel,” “wait,” “off,” and “go to bed.”
Week 2
Working on increasing duration, distance, and reliability of these commands.
Practicing updated commands and behaviors in environments with various distractions to build focus and impulse control.
Introducing mental stimulation activities such as puzzle toys, scent work, and interactive games to engage the dog’s mind.
Practicing obedience and behaviors in real-world settings such as parks, busy streets, or pet-friendly stores.
Ensuring the dog can perform tasks reliably in diverse environments
Continued socialization with new people, animals, and experiences to strengthen positive behaviors and reduce anxieties.
Reinforcing clear, consistent communication between the dog and trainer.
Ensuring that commands and cues are well understood and executed reliably.
Week 3
Incorporating more complex enrichment activities and problem-solving tasks to keep the dog engaged and motivated.
Providing detailed instructions on how to maintain and build on the training at home.
Reviewing the dog’s progress and making any necessary adjustments to the training plan.
Ensuring that the dog is comfortable and proficient with all learned behaviors.
Brining in the owners during drop off to show them all the work that's been done and how to continue their dogs progress.
3 Week Advanced Stay and Train
Age requirements: 9 Months and older
This 3 week program is $700/per week. A 20% deposit is due of the 3 weeks ($420), to hold your spot. The remanding balance is due 2 days prior of training ($1680).
